Set staff and working hours

Choose who can be booked and when appointments are available.

Staff controls who can be booked

If you work alone, your staff setup may only need one person. If more people take appointments, add them so customers can book the right person at the right time.

Link staff to services

Make sure each staff member is linked to the services they can provide. This stops customers choosing a service with someone who does not offer it.

Set working hours

Working hours tell OneDiary when appointments can be offered. Set the normal days and times you want customers to book, then adjust them as your week changes.

  • Keep hours realistic, including breaks where needed.
  • Use closed days for times you never want bookings.
  • Check that service duration fits inside the available time.

Preview available times

After updating hours, preview your booking page and choose a service. This is the quickest way to check that customers will see the times you expect.
